Canal Winchester

Welcome to Canal Winchester

Loaded with some of America’s most unique attractions, Canal Winchester is a small town that has steadily been gaining more attention. Growing to prosperity in the mid-1800s as a town along the Ohio & Erie Canal, Canal Winchester became known for its agriculture and grain. It was formally recognized as a village in 1841, when, as local legend tells, two teenage boys hooked a horse to the post office of the neighboring town and pulled it over to Canal Winchester; the addition of a post office created a legitimate claim to village-hood.

Enjoy the small-town feel of your new home as you admire some of the most interesting museums and companies in the world!
